Benjamin Robert Lurye

Benjamin Lurye is excited to make his Gulfshore debut! Originally from the DC area, Ben began his career performing on the stages of the area’s great theaters, including the Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre (Sweeney Todd 2010 and 2023, A Little Night Music, Sheryl Crow and Barry Levinson’s Diner), Ford’s Theatre (Hello, Dolly! – Helen Hayes Award; Outstanding Ensemble), Olney Theatre (My Fair Lady, Sweeney Todd, Mary Poppins, Forever Plaid, Joseph…Dreamcoat), Rep Stage (Songs for a New World, Sweeney Todd, The Fantasticks), The Kennedy Center, Adventure Theatre, Virginia Rep, and many more.

Since moving to NY at the beginning of 2020, he’s performed across the country at Theatre Under The Stars (Frozen, Sweeney Todd), the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival (The Last Five Years), Opera in the Heights (The Light in the Piazza), Bristol Riverside Theatre (A Comedy of Tenors), and North Shore Music Theatre (Titanic). Ben has also appeared in concert with the National Symphony Orchestra (Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs by Ben Folds and Mo Willems, Music of the Mad Men Era with Cheyenne Jackson), the Lawton Philharmonic (On The Town), and the American Pops Orchestra (Around the World in 80 Days).
